BACKSTAGE VOLUNTEERS
With over 500 students to care for backstage we would appreciate your help! If you are interested in volunteering your time during the scheduled Sunday rehearsals, the rehearsal day prior to the showcase and or on the day/night of the performance, please email This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it. Please include your name, your child’s name and which dates/shows you are available for, along with a copy of your Working with Children clearance. We required all volunteers to submit a WWCC to assist. We welcome both Mums, Dads & Carers

COSTUMES
Please understand that most costumes come from overseas, so your patience is appreciated when it comes to delivery. Our costume process is thorough and allows a check of the costume on each individual student before handing out. On delivery, a notice will be placed inside your  costume bag and will notify you of any additional items that are required for purchase, i.e. stockings, shoes. If you haven’t already, this is a friendly reminder that all end of year production costs including costumes must be paid in full as of today.

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTION?

What happens if my child is included in both the Junior & Senior Showcase?
We ask that students included in both the Junior & Senior Showcase stay at the venue in between shows. Parents are more than welcome to drop off food however as the time allocated in between shows may change it is easier they remain in the venue supervised by ACPA staff &  volunteers. We want to try and make life as easiest as possible for parents with children that are there all day/night and are in discussions with the venue regarding catering options. We will update you once this has been finalised.

Can I collect my child during the showcase?
We work hard to create a safe but also fair environment for all performers therefore, no student can leave the venue until the showcase is completed.

Where do I drop off & pick up my child?
A map of the venue will be supplied closer to the date with clear details for both drop off and pick up for both the rehearsals and showcase.

What does the “footage access fee” allow us & when will I receive it?
We want you to be able to share and watch the footage from all shows with your family and friends therefore all showcases are professionally filmed, and a link will be emailed to you for you to access and download. Please note the link will only be available for 3 months after release so please “download and save” to ensure you have access to this wonderful memory. As we have 3 cameras recording each show, we need time to edit all footage and will notify you as soon as it is complete. For a production of this scale, this is a compulsory fee for all students to participate.
