If you are starting to think seriously about Hip Hop Dance lessons and classes, or are interested in competing in State, National and International Hip Hop Dance Competitions, the Australian Company of the Performing Arts in Adelaide is the dance school for you.

ACPA currently hold 5 Hip Hop Dance Competition teams who compete in Hip Hop Championships around Australia. Our Hip Hop dance Teams are entered into the Junior, Varsity and Open Hip Hop dance division depending on their age group.

Coached under our intensive program, our Hip Hop crews focus on a 2-3 minute routine that includes hip hop dance styles such as Break, Locking, Popping, Wacking, House, Swag and Lyrical. 

We currently hold the following champion titles:

2014 - Varisty Champions

2015 - Young Guns Champions, Open Division Champions 

2016 - Young Guns Champions, Open Division Champions 

2017 - Junior Champions, Young Guns Champions, Open Division Champions

Not only are our Hip Hop dance crew students coached by some of the best Hip Hop dance teachers in SA who have great experience, ACPA continues to bring Hip Hop dance choreographers into the studio for workshops. Workshops are a fantastic way to build on the students skill level whilst learning from professionals in the industry.  We don't limit our dance students to only our Hip Hop dance lessons and workshops. Our promoter continues to update the Hip Hop dance students with dance workshops that are happening across Adelaide, SA and in Australia.
